The Fall and After

“O, Lord, not this one.
From the Tree of Life in the garden
Their fruits, unto us, You give
And our sins, do forgive
Much, much we did suffer
For an act done in an hour
Enough, Oh, Lord, pardon us now
As in days old, unto us all your love.”

“Be patient, My children
Heavenly days’ll be yours again
In repentance and prayer
For years together
As we agreed earlier
Be here
My blood, I’ll shed
To redeem ye and the mankind.
Gates of heaven, then to open
To you and every righteous man.”

In gratitude they stand and pray
Unto their cave, they find their way.
Their home on fire
Adam and Eve in fear
“Was it due to God’s anger?”
In Prayer, they seek an answer.

To make man swim in sorrow
His trust in God to become hollow
Satan again
The cause of the arson.
God remains not mute
The fire, His angels, put out.

“Satan’s reward”, says the Lord,
“For your readiness to obey his command.
To burn and kill you, his mission
Unto ye and mankind, a lesson
Fire and hell
Rewards by the fallen angel”.

The credit goes to my friend, who does not like to be named. This is just a small part from his poem, The Fall and After. It is a beautifully written one about Adam and Eve, their life in paradise, fall from there and then the redemption...

Thank you. As mentioned before, It is by my dear friend. What I posted above is just a small part from it. Once he publishes the whole poem, I will ask him permission to post it all...
